  2. Lena Forbes says:

I was on the section 8 housing list for 10 yrs or so,never was I placed into a home under the program. A couple years ago I relapsed and then put on probation and I had an option either to do all the jail time or voluntarily enter into the Pro36 drug rehabilitation program and that’s what I choose,I did have to do some jail time, however during this time the butte co housing authority was requesting some information and documents proving that I was a successful graduate of the program, well again I was arrested for unrelated issues no drug charges either. so because I was in jail I couldn’t get the housing authority the forms requested so they kicked me off the list and said I am no longer eligible for their program,i also am disabled and receive permanent ssi disability.how is this legal for them to do that to me I could see if I failed the court program but I graduated
